“Okay, we are finished,” he announced.
“I got it? I got the patent?” Ms. Sampson knocked her bonnet askew in her excitement.
“Yes, you do. But if I may, no one will ever buy it. There’s no way anyone will trust a machine to get clothes clean enough.”
